The country’s total length from north to south is 1,650km. Its width, stretching from east to west, is 600km at the widest point in the north, 400km in the south, and 50km at the narrowest part, in the centre, in Quang Binh Province. The coastline is 3,260km long and the inland border is 4,510km.

Citizens of France holding valid diplomatic passports: No Vietnam entry visa required to stay less than 90 days or several visits within 6 months
Citizens of Chile holding valid diplomatic or official passports: No Vietnam entry visa to stay for less than 60 days.
APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) Holders: No Vietnam entry visa to stay for less than 60 days
Overseas Vietnameses: No Vietnam entry visa required to stay for less than 90 days if holding Vietnam visa exemption certificate.
